ClimbTech has graciously offered our community a great deal on their perma draws, $9.50 each for the standard length (not incl. tax/shipping). These are the same steel draws up at Muir. If anyone is interested in placing an order shoot me a PM for more info. We're looking at placing the order next week so let me know by Halloween please.

Also, if anyone is interested in simply donating to this effort you can do so by visiting: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?c ... CAJEVQKLBW
These steel draws will be fixed on routes where safety concerns have been addressed and on steep routes that tend to see fixed gear (e.g. replacing fixed, worn gear; new and existing steep routes).

If you haven't made your donation yet to this cause, please do so today! This effort will replace a ton of crappy gear that desperately needs removal and every bit helps.

This weekend I pulled a fixed draw off the second bolt crux section of a route where the nylon dog bone was torn halfway through on the biner end. This would've resulted in a ground fall if left unreplaced. So many routes need the fixed gear stripped and your support will help.

Thanks!

I can get a deal on DMM's and always thought the Revolver would be an "interesting" fixed draw or anchor. Has its pros (really cant wear it out), and its cons (Zero Friction (which could be good or bad)). Anyone used them for Long term use. I would be willing to donate a dozen or 2 if people think they would hold up.

I'm mid road trip right now, so it wouldnt be till next season, around spring
