Post by robert birchell »

I want to contact True North Hostel but the phone numbers listed in
the guide book 2nd edition do not work. (888-637-6148 and 606-668-7403)
Also the website is not working.
Please help if you can.

It is now called True North Inn. Here is their website with new phone number - http://www.truenorthinn.com/

I understand Jeff is gone, new owners now. Web hasn't been updated sinc last fall, but the phone # 606-668-3745 worked earlier this week.

So this new number is not working...is this place operating or not?
I've been a gumby longer than you've been climbing.

I'm curious about this as well. The past couple times I've driven by there (usually Saturday nights or Sunday mornings) no cars were in the parking lot and the lights weren't on. I looked inside and it looked like everything was there for it to be open except employees. I've also received no answer at the number when I've tried calling it a half-dozen or so times this summer.

The place has been closed all this year. There used to be phone numbers posted near the door to call for lodging info, but last I looked, all info had been removed. Maybe that has changed in the last few days? No meals have been served this year. Lots of hype on FB but it's been a mystery. Miss the old days.
