Driving from CA to VA and making a pilgrimage to the Gorge along the way. Never been to Kentucky before so I'd prefer to climb with someone who knows the area or at least has a guidebook and general idea. Not a real strong climber yet, usually stick to 5.8-9 but recently have been top roping 5.10s without too much trouble. My usual climbing area is Mission Gorge in San Diego if that helps you make any determination as to my climbing ability/style. I have a rope and gear for sport climbing with me.

Head to Muir Valley on Saturday, help with the trail day, and after that, you'll have plenty of folks willing to climb with you!
