Route confusion at Torrent

Post by ToddP »

Hey everyone-

We were at Torrent today. There are five "newer" sport routes on the other side of the waterfall (one .9 and four .10's, I think). Only four are listed in the online guidebook. There is some confusion as to names and grades. Over at the RRGCC website they have names and grades of five routes over there (and these don't completely match those in the online guide). Can anyone clear this up? I need to be able to spray accurately.

Thanks!

unless, these routes are at your max, it is illegal to spray in kentucky. so take your spray bottle to columbus where everyone lies about their heroics..just ask rhunt...lol

I will vouch for ToddP. He did a damn good job on those routes yesterday. He really battled to send one of them when I had given him for lost at the third bolt. NOW he has to conquer Bandolier!

ToddP,
I thought it was a 10d too, but it was still a nice send. Terry did a great job with those routes. We will knock off that 10d when you get out with us again.

Yeah SikMonkey- that was fun on Sunday.
Thank you to you and Todd for talking me up that route. Maybe I can climb with you again this Sunday?

Well, I won't be climbing Sunday, but Todd might. I am heading off to Florida Monday so I am taking Sunday off. I will talk to Todd though and let you know something.
