Kick Stands

Why are kick stands not cool anymore? Personally, I really like having a kick stand. It comes in handy all the time, basically every time I don't want my bike to fall over. Turns out, that is all the times I am not riding it. So why do I feel lame for being the only bike on the rack with a kick stand?

I wish I was cool so I could do stupid shit and call it cool....actually, wouldn't the act of calling it cool myself make it not cool

they add weight, good road frames dont accommodate them, your bike is for riding not standing, it is easier to balance a good bike than it is to add the extra weight, they add weight
