In conjunction with the Muir Valley Annual Trail Day on Saturday, 9/25/20, Isaac Heacock is going to be leading a team replacing the draws on some Muir Valley routes. The "permanent" draws left on many of the overhanging routes are not so permanent. Many are starting to exhibit an unacceptable level of wear. Hoosier Heights Gym in Bloomington Indiana has made a very generous donation of ClimbTech PermaDraw sets. These are specially designed for long-life permanent draw installations and are constructed of steel biners on a cable, rather than aluminum biners on webbing. Thank you Hoosier Heights!
If you are planning to come to Trail Day on the 25 and would like to be assigned to this team, please PM me with your name, email and phone number and I will get you in touch with Isaac. If you can't make trail day, but would like to help, please also PM me, letting me know what routes you would like to take care of, and when you would be able to do it. We will make arrangements to get the required equipment to you.
Thank you.

Muir Valley Draw Replacement
Re: Muir Valley Draw Replacement
Reminder: Isaac Heacock could use some additional volunteers for the team he is leading for this draw replacement project. The draws are on the more severely overhanging, challenging routes, so this work will require some of the more advanced climbers. If you are interested in working with Isaac you can PM him at Heacocis, email him at isaac@hoosierheights.com, or mention that you would like to be assigned to his team when you sign in at the MV Trail Day Saturday morning.
Thanks.
