I am one of the Knoxville climbing crew, recently some guy named Tony Reynaldo moved down here. This is a laid back group here in Knoxvegas, but this guy has made more enemies in a couple weeks than anyone else can make in a lifetime. I haven't really met him yet but I have overheard his endless spray, and about all he did at the Red. However, I also heard he got run out of town up there? Whats this guy's MO? He's been waving his drill around talking about bolting new lines. Should we be worried? Whats the story?

Aw man, Tony what have you done now??......
He's really motivated and loves to help others, especially kids. He can be a little much sometimes but he has a good heart. Be easy on him.

Ha Ha..sorry to laugh but...well yes you should be worried. I hate to talk badly about people(even if I don't think highly of them) so I'll just say yeah he's got issues.
Listening to his endless spray and stories about all the classic lines he has bolted are truly entertaining
Sorry Porter but I think is was Tony that started drilling first at the Red...at least that is what he told me.
Good luck with him

we have a guy here like that who has no clue how obnoxious he was..we bought a squirt bottle, and simulated pulling it out every time he started...squirt, squirt..maybe that would tone tony down for you guys...I only met tony a few times, so I can say he talks up a storm, and you learn to believe half of it, and know the rest is just an insecurity issue....get him going in the right direction, and he will work hard with you guys...

In all the years i have ever known Tony, he has been a really good guy and a really good friend. He is a really motivated guy and loves to work and with kids and tries really hard to better the climbing community (maybe tries a little to hard, but non the less he tries, which is more than i can say about alot of climbing i have met and climbed with) And another thing, he was never run off from cincy, he has been looking for a good school, so that he can get his masters degree, to be a professor. So, just give Tony a chance he's a good guy that means well, just people don't understand him and dont give hima chance.

ok ok I will have to agree with piggie and allah...Tony does mean well and is a nice enough guy. It just his spray and stories that have always bothed me.
I will also say this, he was the only one I knew of to be out there re-bolting routes(at the Red) that were badly in need of new bolts.

Tony is Tony. You can either like him or not like him. Personally, I've learned to like him over the many years I've known him.

Good Luck! Tony is a huge adjustment to get used to. But he deep down is a pretty nice guy. You have to over look the spray and hyper personality to get to it but in the end you find a decent guy that has a big heart. He & I have certainly had moments but you can't stay pissed at him too long.

Tony's not that bad. just a little vocal. He has aways been nice to me. like Scin said, either you like him or you dont. He is good artist.
