Parking on Top of Hill May Reduce Break-Ins

Post by Meadows »

Just got a call to let me know that the folks who own the property on top of the Motherlode Hill, are inviting you all to park there. This is in the area of the run-down house and to the hill, which is getting mowed down to accomodate more cars. Just don't park infront of the oil wells!

While there are no guarantees of your vehicle's safety, it's in earshot of residents and has more traffic than the parking lots. You can share rides down with those who don't mind the risk, walk or ride a mountain bike.

Don't forget to wave at the folks when you see them out or stop and say hello. They're awesome and very supportive of climbers!

are the new owners of that property climbers? I'm kinda pissed i didn't move on that property when i first saw the sign. know what it went for?
And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.

No, they're not climbers. Just a local and nice family who owned a great deal of the land already and wanted to keep it all together.
