What is closed because of these bear shenanigans?

So is Miguel's closed?

Can you still take the Slade exit and drive all the way to Muir/PMRP, or is the road closed?

If it is closed can you at least take exit 40 and then go down 715?

Ya I already read that, but I also read that a lot of camp grounds are being closed, and I wondered if that includes Miguels...

I swear on the news they showed a road closed on the news, but I've found no mention of whether any roads are actually closed or not, does anybody know?

How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared

For some reason I just figured Red River Gorge Geological Area meant the hiking and not the actual roads. How the heck is Phantasia still open, it's below highway 460?

So does anyone know a good way to get to Muir from 64 in this situation?

I don't see anything in the post about Mountain Parkway being closed, or that section of 15 / 715 that you're on when you you are heading to Muir. So wouldn't you just go past the Slade exit on Mtn Parkway, get off at the next exit (for 15 / 715), turn left on 15 and right on 715?

Well I figured that "north of Natural Bridge State Resort Park to U.S. Highway 460" means it would include Mountain Parkway and 11.

This is bull, the best climbing weather all summer and I'm afraid to even drive out there since I'll probably just get lost trying to take a detour. I have no sense of direction, and kind of suck with maps.

And reading, apparently. There's a phone number on the press release. Call the guys in charge if you're so worried about it and stop wasting bandwidth.

Well I'm just bad at using maps while I'm driving :) Give me a topo or a cave map and I can get you anywhere you like.

I would call them but I'm at Miguel's and don't have service.
