Have you seen it?
It's great! It's an "adventure documentary." It chronicles the journey of a guy (Jeff) to repeat the steps of Chouinard (et. al) on their infamous trip from Ventura to Patagonia to climb Monte Fitz Roy, which Jeff doesn't actually end up climbing... Anyway, it's a pretty good film. A bit heavy handed on the environmental soap box stuff, which is a shame because the beauty of the cinematography should make that argument without the need for the lengthy voice-overs. Alas, we aren't quite there yet. Of course it is informative of the efforts being made to preserve the Chilean wilderness and primitive areas.
Another great film that came out recently: "North Face" (original German title: Nordwand) is a 2008 German fictional film that incorporates some historical facts of a famous 1936 attempt on the Eiger north face. (Source: Wikipedia (I'm tired)). It's got some really tense and emotional climbing scenes, and does a great job of recreating some of the tension of climbing in horrible conditions on what looks now as archaic gear!

Saw both recently via Netflix streaming movies.
180 South was fairly awesome, I enjoyed the soap box bits, and just thought the people involved were super awesome, especially Yvon. It's inspiring to see him still going hard at nearly 70 years old
Nordwand was a pretty good watch too. The love story is oh-so-lame, but the scenes of old school mountaineering were definitely rad.
