Lake Reba Handicap Playground, Richmond, KY

Post by ynp1 »

Hey Everybody,

I have been working all semester to raise money to build a handicap playground in Richmond, KY.

If you all have time and would help in the effort go to

www.refresheverything.com

and vote for the playground.

Thanks a lot! And the 10,000 kids in central Kentucky with disabilities thank you!

Which category is it under? $5K? $25K? $50K? I'm guessing not $250K but if it were that could fund an awesome playground!

Project number?

Voted, great idea. I hope, even if it doesn't win, that it still happens.

Yeah it will still happen, just not as quickly. We have already raised $22,500 with special events and other grassroots fund raising efforts and the city of richmond 4 years ago said they would match up to $30,000, but with the government being broke, we reopened our fundraising efforts to try to have it built by next spring. We need $60,000 to build it and if we get this grant we would start building hopefully this summer.

Thanks for the help eveybody!!!
