okay, I tried this route going straight up the middle and i wasn't getting anywhere fast in the up department. Then I think it is a sandbag 10 and then I go to the on-line guide where they say it is a 9 or even possibly an 8??? What am I missing? Should I have gone to the left or right of the crack? I didn't think I was that tired as I went on to on-sight Edge-A-sketch....plus some other sport 10s...what gives with T-bone??
thanks....Cathy
well, i've done some crack before (don't need to go there) and a fair amount of gear and if it was a 10 crack then fine but a 9 or an 8? oh, well...best practice up. cheers
going left is the easiest option if you are going to avoid climbing the crack and then it probably is 10b/c face moves, I had my son on it recently and he doesn't have any crack climbing skills and found the face moves to be a bit hard, he is usually pretty solid at 9 to 10a face moves
