There is now a form on the RRGCC website under the Contact tab to report trails that are in need of maintenance: http://rrgcc.org/contact-us/report-bad-trails/
We will use this info to prioritize trail work needs on the PMRP and in other areas where we can gain permission to conduct trail work. Please keep in mind that within Daniel Boone National Forest trail work can be organized for approved "system trails" (i.e. numbered trails w/trail names) with permission. However, for "user trails" no work can be organized without going through a lengthy approval process to upgrade to "system trail" status. Currently the trails to Left Flank, Military Wall, and Pebble Beach are the only "system trails" that have been built specifically to access DBNF crags. All other crag trails on the DBNF are "user trails".

WE NEED YOUR IMPUT!!
I am trying to start a database of on going needs and projects but I have nothing so far. Let us know whats going on. Trail washed out, trees down, Swamps where the trail should be?...etc...
let us know!!
"....... Be sure to linger......." Mike Tucker
for example, we went out to Darkside for a trail day. We had some plans in mind, but had no idea that there was a section of the parking lot that had been washed out. While we were able to put a temporary fix for it, if we'd had advanced knowledge we might have been able to obtain some pipe and make the solution more permanent.
if you see a downed tree or washed out section of the trail, please report it. it would be more helpful to have a trail problem over reported than not mentioned at all.
next trail day - August 14 - Johnny & Alex Trail Day & After Party!!
