Pedal The Red - Mt Biking in RRG

Post by Josephine »

There's a fantastic group creating mountain biking trails in the PMRP. If you are interested in participating or want more information, check out http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pedal-The ... 1022441982

Their next trail day is March 20th.

Always looking on the bright side of things Toad.

I know I dont like wasting my time and money and know others feel the same. What happened at that trail was a very unfortunate event and trust me no one was more aggravated with what happened than I was.

After talking to the RRGCC BOD many times about that incident along with the oil company changes over the years I feel confident this will not and cannot happen again.

Going forward I think everyone has learned from what happened and hopefully will continue improving the property without focusing on the past.

Part of the new trails program that I am excited about is that we will be bringing the old trail up to date. Creating a trail thats a blast to ride and is sustainable.

The other portion of the program will be building about 5 additional miles of single track in other parts of the property.

I cant explain how amped I am on the potential the property has for mountain biking and trail running. It can be a world class area if developed right.

There will be more information coming out soon about the trails program. This will be a good year for the PMRP and for those of us who like to ride the fat tires.

I hope to see you out there !
