Is this cool or no? I realize it's light-hearted, but what are your feelings on hangdogging? Is it bad form or what? Everyone does it now and then, but do you hangdog more than necessary?

This isn't hangdogging, this is cheating! Hangdogging is hanging on the rope to figure out moves instead of being lowered each time you fall. Funny article though.
And is hangdogging good or bad, well I can't answer that becuase there are NO rules in rock climbing....well at least I don't follow someone elses rules.
As another post suggests, find your own style/rules and go for it!

I figure it's hangdoggin' if you use the rope to rest. I mean, as an individual, do you kick yourself in the pants when you wuss out and rest on the rope, when you could have gone for it, but didn't?

man, that article is gay. what a waste of space. i realize it must be a joke, but maybe they could have done something cool like put another page in the gallery. did anyone see that dumb ass techtip a while ago for alpine climbing? basically it was just a page for this plastic penis that girls can use to pee standing up. only one company makes this utensil, so it was a one page advertisement. techtips suck dick.
