Back in the fall, or late summer, or possibly even late in the Winter, but, for sure sometime during the latter part of the 2009 climbing season a member in my group became disoriented enough to lose his fairly new rope and very new standard issue metolius rope bag. The rest of the members in my party were thought to have had this gear stuffed somewhere with their possessions, but, alas, upon unpacking, packing, unpacking and packing several times over again, we came to realization that our crew was missing something. The rope was purplish/blue, none of us can remember the brand. It was likely left in a parking lot at Muir or southern region, none of us knew it was gone until early Jan. holding out for a miracle HERE.

Hopefully you did not leave the drugs in the parking lot also. I wouldve said pot, but this sounds heavier.

nah, sounds like that bag made it all the way up to the crag, but not back to the parking lot

Sorry, lots of gear in our Lost and Found box, but no rope.
