Why does Wes suck at granite bouldering?

So, I seem to have trouble sending granite problems. Help me learn why...

Besides the fact that you can list many excuses as to why you suck on granite, try the footwork. Some of my first experiences bouldering were on granite in the Wind Rivers. We bouldered in mountaineering boots. When I was taught snow & ice climbing, we started w/o crampons because they were considered aid. So try bouldering on granite with mountain boots or approach shoes.

Try placing bourbon and Ale-8 on the top of each boulder problem.
And be sure to warm up properly on easier problems, so when you get to your project, you're ready to go!

Remember you are not on sandstone. granite takes alot of finesse. you will get use to it.You usually have to seek out those tiny razor thin edges.

Try sanding the bottom of your shoes and keep them clean.
