Also, let's not forget about sit-ups, because it's all about "core" y'know. Buckets of sand. This hang board vs. that hang board. This muscle. That muscle. Pully #2 A4 and extensor #Q/B7. And have you tried one-arm halfy-half pullups? But make sure you get enough Vitamin 742 and not too much of component 32 because it will lead to carbohydrate festooning and blah ba' blah ba blah blah..."
Stop it! Shut up! You are KILLING climbing! At least for yourself, you are. And for me? Well, you are annoying the shit out of me.
Farmers once grew food with compost--now they use N, P, and K (and look where that has brought us).
Humans used to eat food--now we eat 'nutrients' (carbs, polyunsaturated lipids, vitamins, etc--say hello to the most unfit and unhealthy nation in the world--thanks, 'nutritionists')
And let's not forget the gym-obsessed weight 'trainer'. He works his lats, backs, snaps, claps, schmaps, and flaps--He can bench 300 pounds but can't climb out of a 2nd story window to save his life. Or outmaneuver a small dog.
So I beg you: leave behind the bullshit. Stop training, and start climbing again.
