Got gear for the new year?

I sent a couple of my trad projects in 2009 and didn't even to make it to the crags where some were. But I also found a couple of new ones and put my soul into those. Then took a little break at the end of the year. But now the holidays are over and it's back to working out 5 days a week, as hard as ever, in hopes of sending a few more.

The short list for me (still) includes Brontosaurus (never made it there), The Beeneling (got my butt kicked) and Tradisfaction (finally looked at it anyway). And of course something from the yet to be discovered.

So what's up people? Are you training, or selling your gear? And what's on your agenda? It's time...

exercise 5 days a week in a crossfit fashion. Running and lifting nonstop. Climbing 3 days a week and exclusively bouldering so I can stop being such a weakling. Technique has only gotten me so far...

Then in late feb its time for rope climbing like crazy to get the endurance back up before march climbing in the gorge. I got an erection just thinking about it.

Bouldering 3x week, going to a few comps to keep myself motivated... and slowly building up my rack. A cam for birthday, a cam for Christmas, a cam for wedding anniversary... probably another one for Valentine's Day. Climber husbands sure have it easy.

damn, I might as well sell my rack, havn't touched it in a few months. I talk about it but it never goes through. Soon though, soon I will pull myself away from the bowels of sport climbing

I sent my sixth, fifth this month last night. Got me a new bottle of ET and a 6'er of ale 8. My biggest next trad project is to finish out "Iron Man", Then I'm going to equip "Iron Maiden". The sport line next to it, It runs off of the same anchors. I'm gonna go up and work out the moves this week 8)
Should be fun!!

'the beeneling' and 'tradisfaction' are both on the list to climb within the next month or so. if the beeneling is anything like 'the return of geoff beene' it should be some of the best in the red.

C'mon Pigsteak! Just grab the sharp end and your nuts, there's nothin' par going down here! (But then again, might be nothin' at all... lol). It's all good.

Cool to hear I'm not the only one out there cross training - but no way these old bones are bouldering.

GAAR - You still around dude?
