So I was at the Back Door with some friends last night (its a bar...not a gay bar) and we were having this argument. I have had direct confirmation from several women that a call back on day one is bad and shows desperation and is generally unattractive. But to wait till day four you may have waited too long. While three is a good number to maintain interest without pissing someone off, its so cliche that it comes off as arrogant and unattractive making day two the only viable alternative.

If your ability to talk to females depends on how many days you wait, you should probably never call, or even go out in public ever again.

ok, I was there with Kramp, and he told us the story, so I'LL share.

He saw her across the room, and bought her a drink. He said hi, they talked for a few minutes until she went to the john...kramp rummaged thru her purse while she was away, and got her number off her iphone. after telling her what he did, she threw a beer on him and left.

thinking that was a sign, he called her the next day to apologize. she was irritated and said that was creepy to call a girl with a stolen number.
day two he called again and asked if he could make it up to her with dinner. this time she only hung up on him, so he figured his persistent was paying off.

day three she screamed at him in the phone and said she would call the cops if he didn't quit harassing her. at least we're talking again, he rationalized.

day four, they finally met again, as the cops hancuffed him at her front door.

so kramp, it sounds like day two got you the furthest with her. I'd stay with that.

i think in this day and age where everything is so connected there really is no need to wait 3 full days. send her a text if you dont wanna wait. its less committing than a phone call, but still shows interest

whatever happened to just getting them drunk and roughing them up in the alley afterwards??

I don't know, I thought the beer throwing was progress cus she also slapped me, and ya know, negative contact is better than none.

I always thought the game was bs, call her if you like her ya know, but this girl I work with who is young and cute and on the scene met this guy at a football game who called her back the next day. We tried to tell her that he liked her and she should call him back but she was all turned off by his act of desperation.

we weren't picking up women, just discussing it. This theory would also apply to any popular pickup place like the grocery store, the library, or the DMV. Actually one of the last times I was at the back door I got solicited for gay sex on my walk home, seriously....not proud but its true
