I do find it interesting....racism hits a nerve with some, but then talk of gays is OK. Or sexist talk. Or bashing religion....how do we choose what offends us and what is "ok"?

The hang up I have is that the minute you criticize Obama on legitimate issues, someone (usually Afro-American) cries racism. Give me a break.

Sort of sad that we are having this discussion while heading into 2010.

Regarding Obama, I had to stop reading the comments at the end of news articles. Quite infuriating really. We all had fun with W and the cowboy jokes, or Clinton and the cigar jokes. But, the pure hate spewed into these public forums is sad. Just when you think we are further along than that, you're proven wrong, again.
