The Img tag is barely ever working for me, and just now I posted 8 pics using html, and only 3 of them showed up. Considering I posted all 8 of them the exact same way, the problem isn't even consistent.
Here is the page where I posted the 8 images:
http://www.redriverclimbing.com/viewtop ... 1&start=60
Which reminds me, the URL tag isn't working too well either, but I found out you don't even need it anyhow.
Just for an experiment I will now post the same link using the URL button:
http://www.redriverclimbing.com/viewtop ... 1&start=60

"It is difficult to estimate the potential damage of solvents; therefore the middle of the rope should never be marked with a felt-tip pen or similar. Although a danger might be improbable, it should never be ignored." Mammut
Funny you should say that, I thought it was a problem with tinypic also, and so I tried using ImageShack, and the problem was still there. I only realized I should have mentioned that in this post right before I went to bed and my computer was already turned off.
I am using Firefox, but I tried viewing the page with Internet Explorer and the images were still broken. I also tried reposting the images with IE instead of firefox, and that didn't solve anything either.
---------------------
So I uploaded a pic to the Anything album, and I tried posting it in the forum using the IMG tag, and it didn't work.
I think it's because of the filename, it doesn't even end with .JPG
The weirdest part is that I can't get the direct link to the image, if I right click and hit properties all I can get is: "http://www.redriverclimbing.com/album_p ... ic_id=2516" and if I view the image, it's the same thing, all I get is: "http://www.redriverclimbing.com/album_p ... ic_id=2516"
So I am guessing if I can't get a direct link that ends with .JPG, I'll never get it posted in the forum.
-------------------
Another funny thing is that I can't figure out how to upload pics to my personal gallery. I clicked on Album, then clicked on Your Personal Gallery, and it said Not Authorised.
If I click on Users Personal Galleries, it says page 1 of 0 and has no content.
I clicked on Profile, and I see no way of uploading personal pics there.
Now if you want to know how much beta testing I have done for you, I have tried everything I have mentioned so far with both Firefox and IE.
--------------------
Considering the only thing that the URL button is good for is making your link not work, you might as well just eliminate that button IMO. I tried using the URL button with IE and it still didn't work.
I almost thought since the URL button wasn't working, that it was somehow related to the IMG button not working.-'

About Tinypic.com, Imageshack.com, and PHP
To help you solve the problem I would like to give you some of my experience:
I have posted 1000's of pictures around the net using Tinypic.com and Imageshack.com.
I have posted them on Myspace, Facebook, Viking Canoe CLub(a php website), louisville mojo (a php website), and Ebay.
The only time I had trouble was one time with the old version of the Viking Canoe Clubs PHP website, but that website had so many glitches they replaced it with a new PHP website that seems to run pretty flawless. Here it is in case you are curious: http://www.vikingcanoeclubforum.org/php ... um.php?f=5
In the caving club I belonged to, someone made a PHP website, and he moved away so I ended up running it, and everything was going fine until randomly one day the URL button stopped working and you couldn't even add a clickable link to the website anymore. It's like PHP is alive; one day it worked fine, and I never screwed with a single setting, and the next day it decided to break. Well the only way I knew how to fix the problem was to either read a 10,000 page PHP manual (no BS), or to make a new website from raw html (the only website I knew how to make given my current knowledge). Well at least I know how to do rollovers, so I don't think it turned out too bad, but of course updating it sucks: http://louisville.caves.org/
