Rainy day moderates?

Post by bradkillough »

We are coming from Alabama for Rocktoberfest and wondered, ( in case of rain) what are some of the best moderate routes, best place to climb in the rain? Thanks,

there's an online guidebook... you can do an advanced search and find the routes that stay dry within the grade you want. hope that helps. http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuide/search.php

moderate?

is 5.13 moderate for you?

if so, i'd recommend going to the dark side. you should find what you're looking for there. have fun!

Brad, when are you coming in? Looks like no rain Sat. or Sun. Chica Bonita has a few easy climbs that stay dry no matter what. The trash compactor area at Pebble stays dry too w a .9 and a couple .10's

I haven't had one for awhile. I felt it was time.

Johnny's Wall, Bruise Brother's wall, and Techtonic Wall at Muir.
The 10 wall at Roadside
Whipstocking 11a and Make a Wish 10a at Drive By
Hauling a big ego up a route adds at least a full grade.
