i just got a converter box, hoping to watch a football game today. it's been a while since ive had a TV, but im pretty sure that a year ago i could've at least gotten ABC or fox....

now i can never watch another football game in my home. thanks, digital TV, for sucking so much and giving me 1.5 (shitty) channels. is anyone else pissed off about how much it blows?

It may be your antenna. I've made two of these antennas and they work great. I'm not sure if I put the link in right but it's on makezine.com

Analog TV's could produce a shitty image on a weak signal. If your digital converter box doesn't get enough bits of information, no image is produced. It means you need a better antenna. Go to antenna web to see what stations you can get with what type of antenna. Sorry, but being able to tune into live radar from the local channels any time day or night and having 3 channels of KET, one of which is in HD, does not suck.
