there are a few protected moderates speckled here and there, but there are no entire walls full of them.... and anywhere you go to get on these climbs you can count on waiting in line for them, because, what you've described is what 90% of visitors will be looking for this saturday.

what's your idea of a moderate?

monkey in the middle at the zoo is relatively juggy for the grade and stays mostly dry, and is tall

Bruise Brothers at Muir seems to be a destination of choice for easy rainy day climbs, but assuming you are looking for this coming Saturday, Muir Valley would be closed for trail Day.

5.10 wall at Roadside stays pretty dry.

If anyone got out today or gets out saturday I would like to know what the conditions are like. Im guessing from the rain and humidity the rock is seeping even at the steeper walls. Any input would help.

Yesterday and the day before were bad. Soupy rock. If you're blessed with a gym nearby, take advantage.

That's what I am thinking. Where did you climb?

Like a creamy bisque or more chicken noodle?
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Does anyone know how likely it is that the Crossroads will be dry by Thursday (10/1)?
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.
