Half way between Wildcat trailhead (228) and Rock Bridge trailhead (219).
Couple miles in and at a cliff above Swift Camp Creek.

Never thought I'd be pickin' buckeyes, instead of acorns, outta oak trees!

This has been a year for crazy rescues - 19 so far. Last week near Silvermine Arch, we set up a rope rescue system at night directly atop a copperhead rookery. After about 30 minutes they started emerging and all hell broke loose. They were swarming all over the gear.

Two weeks ago we did a litter raise with a 90-pound husky that had fallen to a ledge 50 feet below. Bruised and battered but no broken bones and now back to normal.

What next?

Yep! One more reason to love Rick!

And, Jeff, just be the Kentucky resident Jeff when these things happen!
