8/10 - 8/13

I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in the area 8/10 - 8/13 and was wondering how easy it is to find people to climb with. I don't really have a game plan yet - was thinking of just heading out, camping at whatever place is recommended, and seeing if I can hook up with some climbers in the area.
I've only recently gotten back into climbing and am not ready to do any sport or trad leading yet. It's been so long since I've done any decent outdoor climbs (and I've never climbed at the Red) that I'm not sure what I'm climbing. In the gym I'm putting together 9's and starting to work on 10's but don't think I'd be comfortable following that on trad.
If anyone is around (I don't mind belaying anyone on the hard stuff!) and may be able to climb any of those days PM me!

Hi Melissa
I was considering at trip to the Red myself... First time. I am an experienced
lead climber that lives in Texas... a reseacher at Texas A&M... We have a tight
climbing group... Just got back from Boulder CO, one of our group
has a house there.... I have no problem fixing 8's and up
for us... Just so you feel comfortable belaying...
If interested, are you going for sure and what days? 2 days
would be all I can get away.

Hey Carl!
I've actually gotten hooked up with someone and plan to be there for at least 3, maybe 4 days. I'm definitely going to try to plan some more trips in the future but they will have to be long weekends since it's a 7.5 hour drive for me!
