Is there anything you can do to protect you skin from falling off and burning for three days after a gym visit?

Use a condom

You realize that you control your own destiny.

Think inflammation; try anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen or Naprosyn taken on schedule for the 24 hours post injury; they may decrease the degree of response and thus the skin loss.

put a bunch of vaseline or lotion on your hands and then gloves or socks on top of that when you go to bed at night and resist the urge to be good to yourself. this creates a perfect terrarium for re-growing skin.

Thanks gripster. I often find that plastic is worse on my skin than sandstone. It seems like my skin gives out at the gym before my body does. It really kind of sucks b/c i want to train more but grabbing each hold hurts more and more.
