it's warm. time to revive the deep water soloing discussion.

anyone have any beta? i heard that there are some good places to go in Tennessee that are limestone... other than that I am thinking about checking out Laurel lake.

from what I understand, summersville is still good for DWS. Just be sure to yell "shiiiiiiit" :shock: on your way down, because it is not illegal to fall, only to dive

Laurel lake is good, just not tall.

how tall do the cliffs range there? and is it typically deep enough to not worry about it?

also, if I were to go check out laurel lake--would i need a boat to get around and to find the good cliffs? or are they only in a certain spot?

Until they rewrite the law to say falling is illegal, they're screwed. Plus, how do they issue a ticket if you have no ID on you?

they're cops--they have guns and handcuffs. unless you're willing to give them a fake SS# with address, i think your only chance is to climb up and run away....

actually some friends of mine got a ride back to their car from a cop who told them that they really don't give a crap about DWS. I think their main concern is drunken cliff diving
