Hey Everybody,
For the second year in a row I've gotten spooked on St Alphonso 5.7 at Phantasia. I left behind a #3 and #4 C4. Anyone whos in that neck of the woods care to retrieve it for me? I'll send something your way in return, beer, whatever. I'm back in NC now and wont return for another year.
Embarassing to write this up ugh.

Shit I just did that route last weekend!!! freee bootttyy! Nah , dude no shame man....I started yelping on it myself....the end was the best cause it was wet as hell. I did notice a Red camalot walked WAYYYY back in the crack toward the top...looked old though.
I am going down this weekend if I get a chance I will try and swipe em for ya and send em to ya.

That climb went downhill on Monday. Really aggravating after finding success at the Fortress and clip ups at Bruise Brothers the previous days.
Hopefully next year I will get this climb (Alphonso) out of my mind. Up towards the top has spooked me to much to finish the job. Perhaps the pouring rain Monday morning kind of set the tone. I never felt a drop and 'Attack of the Sandshark' looked dry. Perhaps I should have threw myself at that.
Thank you all

back when I was climbing primarily sport I did not really notice the trad climbs there but they are a all alittle stiff in my opinion. But hey, builds character and as always a little thrashing a cussin no matter what route your on never hurt anyone.

Are you seriously expecting someone to give you back your gear?

On a related note, who wants to climb moderate trad with me this weekend? I was thinking of something with a short approach.
