I am planning a weekend trip. I want to go canoeing the first day then rappell 2-3 hours the next day. We have a group of 12 people that need to be able to walk to top easily. It is a group of beginners through Ohio University. Any suggestions on easily accessible areas to rappell?

Does it matter? With a group of 12 buckeyes, you are guaranteed to have someone deck. You might be safe with a group of 5.

they might not - it depends on the college. I would go to fortress wall and reserve all the easy climbs for the day. if anybody tries to get on american crack tell them that you own it for the day and to go somewhere else.

What was I thinking, that was rude. Go to the Motherload. There should be plenty of people there to help you out if you have any rappelling questions.

pg145604, this is a climbing site and most people here don't rappel or know anything about sport rappelling in the area.

Josi, that's not true. We all rappell every weekend. Because lowering is hard on the quicklinks. Remember? 8)
