long response time = lots of double posts?

Seems like when posting recently, the server is taking a long time to respond to requests, so people are hitting submit twice, thus double posting. Something up with the server to slow it down?

Resources on the servers are fine but bandwidth seems a little flaky. I'll have to run a test when I get home.

Fix this shit Ray. You're like, infringing on my rights and stuff. I have a 53rd amendment right to spew shit on here and I can't do it when your stupid server slows down due to all the climbing porn you host hogging bandwidth.

I hate to say it, but I noticed it right after the last outage and the new router. :(

I'm with Yasi though, I'd kick in some money towards it.

Hey, have you changed the front page pics recently as well? They might be bigger now, thus sucking more bandwidth...

Okay, turns out anything involving the mail function is resulting in the hanging posts. For example, PMs (which people have set to receive mail notifications on) and topics which people have set "Notify me on reply" will hang. SMTP server seems to be working fine so it's something else. I'll keep looking.
