I know that a lot of you climbers will be out pumping up the sandstone this weekend, or serving at the Trail Day, but if you live in Lexington and you won't be in the gorge this weekend then come out to Masterson Station Park around noon and bring your dogs out for some fun. The event is designed specifically for dogs to have fun (you can have fun by watching your best friend have fun), and to help raise funds for Holly's Place Animal Rescue.

I follow threads on here and I know a lot of you have a heart for animals, so bring your dog out to have some fun and support a good cause.

Ooooh, a dog topic. I just put up a post asking this dog question:
Does anyone know of dog sitting services around the Red? Friends are heading down with dog to climb, camp,(no problem) but will be taking some all day courses at RR Outdoors, thus can't take their dog along to Torrent that day(problem). Anyone know of any dog sitters? I seldom see dogs left unattended at Miguels all day, and this dog has never been there yet, thus may not feel dog-comfy being alone in a strange place. Ideas please if you know of dog sitters.
