Hey ya'll... (and ray and moderators, I hope a little shameless self-promotion is okay)

I'm offering some workshops at EKU this summer that I thought I'd share. These are not for-credit classes, but 1 day workshops that focus on some skills. If you know someone who is starting to think about getting into climbing, or who wants to improve their knowledge of ropework and such, point them in my direction.

Workshops include:
Basic Rock Climbing (for true beginners)
Knots for Climbing (also for true beginners)
Kids Climbing Class (for little ones of course)
On-Rope (focus on rope-work including belays, ascending, knots, and rappelling.. fairly basic stuff)
Self-Rescue for Climbers (basically the same thing I taught at rocktoberfest, mostly focused on escaping the belay and discussion of accident prevention and crisis management)

check em out here:

Thanks for enduring my sales pitch.

Also, if I were to host a free day of playing on my ropes course for some of ya'll that have expressed interest (dipsi), what would be a good time? A saturday morning from like 9-1pm so you could still get some climbing in that afternoon? I'm like 45 minutes from the gorge if you cut through Irvine. I have a swell giant swing and climbing tower and high ropes course. Ya'll wanna do it this Saturday?
