So, because I have been super lucky to learn from some amazing photographers over the years, and to try to give back a bit, I am going to hold a photo class at the red. Still haven't worked out the when and where, but if those that are interested can post some dates, we will try to get it scheduled, hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks.
Would mostly cover just general dslr photography, with maybe touching a little bit on climbing photography. Just solid basics of how to capture images, and then a bit on digital workflow/photoshop/etc.
So, start posting dates...

Maybe you two could be the models? We could do some Black and White, but tastefully artistic images...
Or, you two can teach, and I can watch and learn...
Looks kinda like Sunday the 22nd might be the best day for me for March. Wonder if that works for people? Or maybe this Sunday or a Sunday in early April.

this begs the question: has anyone asked piggie about modeling? word on the street was that he did some madonna-esque stuff back in illinois...

Gaaahhh.

(Yeah, yeah. Language evolves. New meanings have been given to the phrase. Whatever. It still makes me cranky.)

I'd be interested.
I took advantage of Ciruit City's woes and got my first DSLR. A Canon Rebel xti 400D.
Also, can anybody tell me if the IS (image stabilization) lens is worth the investment. The lense that came with it is a EF-S 18-55 mm. Seems ok, but I get blurry pictures indoors or in low light. Thanks.
