OK, I don't know if this is the right area to post this, but me and some buddies were climbing at Muir saturday and my buddy Adam fell and his fingers got jammed in a finger pocket, and his dislocated his shoulder. The guys on the route next to us not only helped sling him up, but also, because their car was closer, drove him all the way to the hospital in Winchester. They went out of their way to help out a fellow climber in distress and wherever these guys are, I want to thank them. You guys are another reason why the climbing community really is one big family. THANKS CHRIS AND WILL!

I don't know if Chris and Will read this board or not, but I'll let them know about your message.

We are happy to hear that Adam was helped out by fellow climbers.

As a reminder to Muir visitors, if either Rick or I are here, we are glad to provide a ride out of the valley for persons with minor injuries, or to get an ambulance down there for more serious ones. This has worked well in the past. Call 606 668-9066 or send a runner to the house.

Ice available at the house for sprains etc.
