Check it out:

I doubt anything exciting will be going down, but I'll be there! I want to print up a bunch of fake money and create my own stimulus by lighting it on fire!

Or maybe somebody has an uncle sam costume I can borrow?

Because the left wing has proven that it works. The problem is that most of us have jobs. We're not on welfare, nor are we the idle rich. We picked March 15th specifically to make it something accessible to those who can't come during the week. We also picked late afternoon so we have fewer conflicts with church.
sorry, can't make it. i have to pick up my welfare check instead of going to church and after that, it looks like i'll be climbing on your paycheck all day sunday. have fun though.

I can't make it. I will be educating our youth in a increadibly underfunded educational system. Good thing I can't go and protest giving money to the education of our most valuable resource.

Why can't taxes just go away, and everyone home school their kids like the duggers. Lazy bastards, all of you.

Well you must not have read the link, or do you have school on saturday?

And don't you teach at an "excellent" rated school district? Maybe the reason why your district is "excellent" rated is because you are "overfunded". Maybe to be fair, the governement should take money for your school district, and give it to an "underfunded" district?

Sound like a bad idea? Then come protest with me!

In case you didn't know teachers work more than just the hours of the school day, and second our schools per pupil costs are below the state average, and we will still be asking for a levy soon. I don't even have a class set of text books, and I have 30+ kids a class. Thank the lord that I work in a district that the community values education and spending their tax dollars on it, but I would still consider getting paid 73 cents and hour to coach a sport underfunded.

I could really go on and on and on. Good thing I am giving a test today and I have time to argue with you. To bad that I won't be protesting with you the funding of our educational system. I would hate to spend money investing in someone elses education. Why on earth would I want other people to be educated.

Good friend of mine who had a helluva education got out of teaching because she was tired of fighting a failing educaton system. Sad, but I cant blame her.

Andrew, I am not in any way anti-teacher, especially good teachers such as yourself, working hard in an "excellent" rated school district. And this protest is NOT a protest against eductaion or the funding of it in general. And correct me if I am wrong - but the federal givernment doesn't give any money to your district anyway?

I'm simply pointing out that your district stands to loose in many ways by big government (federal and state) involvement in education. You want to spend all your time doing standardized tests with beurocrats looking over your shoulder? I say you're a good teacher and that is a big waste. And I know plenty of teachers who agree.

And if you want to invest money in the education of kids in another school district - go ahead! You are free to do what you want with your money! You also want the federal government to sieze my paycheck? You want my property taxes to pay for both the school district my kids attend and others?

I just wrote a ton then deleted it.

If America wants to have a strong economy it needs to base its economy on innovation, and new technology. We are never going to beat China, veitnam, (insert poor country with low environmental and human rights standards here _______) at low cost production. Our only chance is to have industry and services that can only be done in America, and the only way to do that is to be on the cutting edge of technology and innovation. The way to obtain this is through significant funding and emphasis on education at all levels. I am done here.

Oh yea, our last president didn't really believe in funding science, and education.
