no problem. i originally thought it was 40% off the already low price...but it's just 40 off reg.
i still got a 55 grigri and a 35 2.5 tech friend to replace the one my buddy stuck in an undersized crack on the first pitch of bedtime.

i just tested it with a petzl grigri
it still works
maybe make sure the X is capital?
remember to checkout in the outlet section after you have added the stuff in the reg section.

Worked for me. 8) Got a grigri, set of BD stoppers and some BD hexcentrics. All 40% off and free shipping.
Did not work checking out through the primary site, use the checkout through the outlet as noted above.

It's not working for me. I added stuff to my cart in the regular section, but when I click the outlet tab my cart shows up empty (so I can't check out). Am I doing something wrong?

the discount just works on the outlet checkout, you have to put an outlet item into the cart, enter the code, remove the item, then i think it works, but it apparently only works on outlet store items, says discount is not as good for regular items.
