Listen up now, the state park is going through with this project whether the climbing community likes it or not. Please do not do anything to compromise access to rumbling bald! trying to climb there during the closure is not acceptable, so please just step aside, let them do the work, and complain to yourself!

Step aside?!?! How about I chain myself to the boulders and pour sand down the gas pipe of their bulldozers instead. This is crazy! Shutting down the cliffs to improve the road and parking, and make it easier and more convenient to get there. I will not stand!

same guy who ruins fixer road to the Lode...
same guy who never shows up for trail day...
same guy who never donates to replace hardware....
same guy who is not a member of the access fund....
same guy who pays no federal income taxes, but uses the federal highway system to his next rad roadtrip...

FYI, closure was lifted about a month ago and the new road/parking area is complete. if you like poison ivy, venomous snakes, angry bees, and sweating your nuts off then you should head on out there.
