Looks like it is time to start writing representatives...and support the NRA, not just agree with them.
KY has some of the loosest firearm laws in the nation. I don't really see this passing, but it just might if we don't pay it much attention. The other negative is the generated revenue. Times are tough. The legislature might see $$$$ and go for it. $.05 per round? Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention the added cost from the manufacturer to do this kind of crap.
I could only imagine that most ammo manufacturers are not set up to stamp brass inside and out with serial numbers, track those serial numbers through the manufacturing process and label the final box with the corresponding serial of the finished round. The cost of Re-tooling those factories will definitely be passed to the consumers...

It's no joking matter, this crap will happen to us if people don't get fired up about soon. The video was informative - too bad that guy didn't have a Texas jury! Remember the case in texas they didn't even indict the guy who shot dead two people robbing his neighbors house!
But seriously, while the ACLU has been off concerned about the rights of terrorists in Guantanamo, we Americans are loosing liberty. Anyone pay attention to the supreme court ruling on eminant domain? There go our propery rights. Anyone heard of the "fairness doctrine" Pelosi and many in congress want to pass? Goodbye free speech.
And soon the government will be running the banks and health care.
Sorry to rant, I'm just preparing myself for the loss of liberty that goes with socialism....

You all are funny2me. All about your *right* to bear arms and "pry it from my cold, dead fingers", yet totally willing to give up all the other rights without a fight. Warrentless wire taps? No problem. Suspend Habius coprus? Doesn't bother me. Regulate (not prohibit) gun ownership? OMFG!! Panic!!
As TK said more then once - all that matters to most of you all is God, Gays and Guns. As long as a politician is on the right side of those issues, then they are totally fine, fuck all the rest of the constitution, bill of rights, etc.
