So I am six months post surgery on my elbow which was broken. I have a plate and 6 screws holding it togather. They did not put me in a cast but more like a brace that kept me from moving it, but I could take it off. The doctor said my recovery was excellent, as I was climbing around 3.5-4 months after the surgery.
My technique and overall ability is coming back but pulling hard moves with my right arm is like screwing with a limp pecker it just dont work.
Anyone else go through somthing silmiler and if so did you find it hard to replace lost muscle mass?
I'm starting to wonder if it will ever be %100 again and hoped someone might have experianced somthing like this too.

I had/have a shoulder injury that wasn't near as complicated. No surgery yet. After mandatory rest and then PT it took about a year to get back to where I was. Then in the second year I feel I've been able to surpass that mark; but I have to work hella-hard and consistently now just to maintain.
Could also have to do with my age.
I broke my foot (tallus) and that was much easier to come back from.

Pick myself up, stop lookin' back.

I did not get that far with PT. I healed fast so by the time My PT gave me excercises the doctor was telling me I did not need PT anymore. I guess I can get one at a sporting goods store? I have heared they are good. Those theraband things are really good - you otta get one
No where is the fun in that? Patience is a vertue but waiting fuckin blows, But your right and I know it.but for you my advise is to be patient, major work like that just takes time. And get some PT....
