There are 150+ acres of land outside of Louisville for sale. The land would be great for outdoor pursuits. Rock Climbing, mountian biking, hiking, hunting, fishing, ATV. The cliffs are not the quality of the Red, but what is, they range from 30 to 100ft plus. There is a decent size boulder field with a parking lot (from logging a few years ago) directly under the boulders, and a few more smaller fields in the woods. The land is 45 to 1hr southeast of Louisville in Breckinridge Co. It would be a great private crag. I grew up in these woods, and always wanted to climb the cliffs when I was younger. I have bouldered and top roped there in the last few years. Since I grew up there, and I don't have the money, I would like to see the land go to someone who can use it recreationally and hopefully develop it.
Here are a few pics I took last year, and a partial topo of the area too. PM for more info.

Barr Realty is listing it. There are a few caves on the land too.
Here is a link that might work better if you don't have facebook.

The nearest community is Sample Ky. The nearest town is Hardinsburg. This land is about ten miles north of H-burg on Ky 259. The land is to the westof 259 before 259 crosses over sinking creek. I think they are asking in the 220 Thousand area, but I am not sure. I think there are 180 acres, there is only a few acres that are flat on it. (As the topo shows). I don't have a gps location.
I didn't like when they logged the land 3 or 4 years ago, and would like it even less if someone bought the land that wouldn't use it to its fullest. (Or wouldn't allow people to enjoy it). The good thing about the logging is that it created access roads to everything.
I will be in the area for Christmas and can take a few more photos if anyone isn't close enough to check the land out themselves.
