Trad Climbing at Military

Post by rjackson »

Last week I noticed between Beene Material and Pink Feat that there are several cracks and features that seem like they would be climbs. I know there is Green Gully, but this is not what I was looking at. One was an pretty overhanging dihedral/crack with heavily textured walls, the other was a dihedral/crack of sorts that wasn't so overhanging but with more features than texture.

Anybody know anything about them or anyone who has tried these? Care to share?

Thanks.

I did a squeeze chimney 100 or so feet right of GI. It wasn't worth writing up.

I'll post pics this week, but I was back there today and there's chalk on the bottom of both.

no, neither of these is Green Gully, and I left some chalk on the top of the right dihedral now too.... The're not in the book that I know of, but the one's ok....tons of features. The other one will have to wait til warmer weather.
I remember everything, whether it happened or not.....
