There is a new campground that has just opened near Muir Valley - our website is as follows:

http://landofthearches.com/

we're still under construction in our indoor area, but hope to add an Wifi/computer station as well as some climbing walls.

We also have onsite bouldering and climbing (real rock)

We have nice cooking and camping sites, free hot showers and a quiet atmosphere

$5 a night.

Another new locally-owned, climber-friendly addition to the business community! Welcome. Nice facilities, outstanding bouldering/climbing cliff adjacent to the campground.

Also, a new, locally-owned family restaurant/general store just opened one minute away from the campground. Good food; good prices.

Stayed there over the weekend. Great location, good amenities. This place will be badass when the owner completes a few more projects, but as of right now it's definitely worth checking out. The owner is super cool and really interested in making a climber-friendly facility.

Thanks David! I'll be back.

Looks really cool, maybe it will help relieve some crowding for miguels on really busy weekends. Can't replace that pizza though.

How long of a walk is it from this place to Muir?

I tried to follow the link above, by my virus software said the website was infected with a virus--anyone else have this message?
