Red River Outdoors would like to announce our autumn clinics.

On October 18th and 19th, we will be having a Sport Learn to Lead / Learn to Climb Outside clinic. Lessons will be given on lead belaying with both ATC and gri-gri, taking lead falls, leading safely, stick clipping, bailing from a climb, redpointing strategy, cleaning anchors, and more. You will take, and catch, lead falls in this course, while being observed and backed up by an experienced instructor.

On October 25th and 26th, we will be having an Intro to Trad Climbing clinic. Topics we will cover will include how to place gear properly, how to assess if gear is well-placed, how to remove gear, basic anchor construction, trad climbing technique and more. You will learn how to place all different types of gear including nuts, hexes, tri-cams, cams, slider nuts, and big bros at this clinic.

Each clinic has a cost of $210 and includes a bag lunch for both days. If you sign up for both clinics the price gets discounted to $185 for each. In order to ensure a low student to guide ratio, the clinics will have limited openings which will be filled on a first-come basis. Sign up today to reserve your spot.

this proves any reasonably informative thread can be hijacked into insensibility; sorry RRO...

BTW, I run a continuing education course on "How To Flail At Any Grade"; always available, and cheap
