subjective grading variance

For whatever reason, sometimes everything I get on feels pretty easy and I tend to believe the route is overrated. When I feel like this I realize it and realize that it is possible that I am sandbagging a route but I tend to stick with my belief that the route is overrated. Other times everything feels ridiculously hard and I believe the grade must be harder, but even though I still realize that everything seems hard I still tend to beleive that the routes are a bit sandbagged. In other words, my true belief about the grade of the route (I believe) is dependent on how I'm climbing and my mental state at that particular time. Has anyone else noticed this?

By the way, there is a trad forum and a sport forum but where is the climbing forum?

You have way to much time on you hands...

I just have good days and bad days...that's all...

Whatever the grade, just realize that you suck so the grade really doesn't matter. You either suck or you don't suck. For confirmation of how bad you suck please watch Beth Rodden's segment in Dosage V.
