Run on a platform of "change" and then pick BIDEN!!!!!! A 36 year tenured senator. Caroline Kennedy must have mercy-fucked Obama to death! Party's over folks!

Probably a great pick, to appease the democrat elite lifers who want to continue business as usual.....I say this helps more than it hurts.

who would you have chosen KD?

I think many dems are having buyer's remorse after Hillary got canned. She'd be way stronger right now against McCain.

However, for me, Obama needs an insider to strengthen his perceived lack of military expertise and ability to play with washington insiders. Biden gives him that aire of authority he has lacked til now.

Just wondering, is there anyone in Washington who enjoys the sound of his own voice as much as Biden does?

I would have gone with the "change" theme and chosen bayh (sp) from indiana. another young guy - new ideas, exciting platform vs the traditional status quo --- oh well - what are ya gonna do - ya know?

Kansas governor Kathleen Sibelius would have been a great choice. That was Carville's pick for Hillary's running mate.

How do you affect change? Credibility and wisdom go a long way. I have long been a fan of Biden and I fully support this Democratic ticket. :D
