Going to the Red with Non Climbers
Going to the Red with Non Climbers
Going to take some non climbers climbing this weekend. I've been to Bruise Bros way too much. Any other suggestions. I should probably stay under 5.9 and don't have trad gear. Thanks,
Today I quit my job. And then I told my boss to go fuck himself, and then I blackmailed him for almost sixty thousand dollars. Pass the asparagus.
This is my list if i have to go somewhere that's dog-friendly (note - this is trad & sport)
- the shire 7, 8, 9+
- vol wal + gallery - 6 & 8
- roadside (motha & the 7's and 8's on the end)
- dip wall (stays dry in rain!!!) 5.4, 5.6, 2 5.7's
- pistol ridge has good easy sport & trad so they can do both
- lady slipper - eureka is THE BEST beginner route & there's 4 5.7 trad lines
if no dogs are involved consider:
- torrent (staying at a cabin would be extra fun)
- animal crackers wall
- great wall (5.6, 5.7, 5.8)
- great arch (the 5.9- is more like a 5.8. the 5.10 isn't bad if you literally pull them past the start)
have fun!
