I know the rules of booty well, having returned several peices despite them. The cam belongs to me, but I didn't leave it there. Someone borrowed it from my rack and someone else cleaned the route. It was left there because the person cleaning it top-roped the route, unclipping the piece, rappelled down and forgot to grab it. It's obviously booty, but I thought I would see if someone had found it and wouldn't mind doing everyone involved a favor. I didn't have high hopes, but you never know...

Karma maybe, but I know that it's at least possible that someone could return booty.
