Does anyone have experience using these and can recommend a brand and type (underground wire, flags, etc.). Bailey's legs come fully spring loaded to clear her over a tall fence and it's difficult to set up the zip line to keep her out of a storm.

I'll ask a friend who recently set one up that she really likes. It might take a day or so to get back to you, but don't give up on me!

tie a bucket of water to Bailey's wee-wee, and then put cattle electric fence up. I think ths works..it worked on me as a child.

I can tell you for sure that the radio broadcast type are not worth it at all. The range / coverage is unpredicatable at best and your dog will get warnings / shocks for no apparent reason. The signal can jump off of things like aluminum siding or other objects and fido gets popped for no reason.

A friend of mine sells them.
She will be down this weekend.
If you pm me your number, I'll have her give you a call.

Pig - Is that how Karen got you to stay in the yard?

the trouble with these fences is that they do not keep other dogs out. This is a problem in my area with jackasses who do not supervise their dogs, but may not be in yours. Another consideration is that some dogs will decide that whatever is outside the bounds is worth a moment of pain. Once they figure that out, the fence becomes useless (though Bailey doesn't seem like the hardheaded type who would do this). Note that if you crank up the stim too high, burns can result.

We have 5 acres fenced in using Invisible Fence. It works well to contain our pack.
